Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica was built by the French between 1877 and 1880 and is famous for its two bell towers of almost sixty metres and its red bricks, made to order in Toulouse, that remain vivid after more than a century. In front of it stands a marble statue of Our Lady of Peace. Together with the Central Post Office next door, it forms an iconic cluster of monuments and an unmissable photo stop in the heart of the city.
