My Son Sanctuary is a complex of more than seventy Champa temple towers built between roughly the 4th and 14th centuries to worship the god Shiva, hidden in a valley ringed by mountains. Recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, it displays the brick-building techniques and refined sculpture of the Cham people. Visitors can watch Cham dance performances and learn about a once-brilliant civilisation that has now receded into the past.
